It is so important to travel responsibly with your pet. Here are a few pointers...

Always check with the hotel prior to your arrival regarding their pet policy. Many hotels have designated pet-friendly rooms.

Never leave your pet in the hotel room by itself. Even the best of dogs can become disoriented in a strange place with strange sounds around them.

Be considerate of housekeeping staff. Remember, many dogs will guard a hotel room the same as they do their car or home. This can place housekeeping staff in serious danger.

Be prepared to pay a pet deposit or sometimes even a nightly fee for your pet.

If you are traveling in the summer, beware of leaving your pet in the car for even a few minutes. Chelan temperatures average in the 80's and 90's.
